The gadget is a life saver because I was able to transfer all my files from an old hard drive to my new computer directly. Amazing!

Ideal for the job required of it.

I was very pleased with it initially. Suddenly it did not work anymore. It was not the SATA or IDE ports because I could feel the drives spinning when connected. I therefore concluded that it had to be the USB cable as my computer did not reflect anything connected after plugging the cable in. Is this under warranty? If so, please send me a new USB cable. Thank you.

Took a while to arrive from China. But, it got here. Seems to work alright.
